Wheatgrass Smoothie

These are great breakfast smoothies to get your day going and to boost your immune system!  If you have access to fresh wheatgrass juice, use that instead.  The flavor and color will be more potent, but the benefits will be as well.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup frozen organic strawberries
  • 1 cup frozen organic raspberries
  • ½ a ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon wheatgrass powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1 scoop protein powder, such as Vega
  • 6 baby spinach leaves

PREPARATION

  1. Place in blender and blend until smooth

  2. Add more coconut milk, orange juice or water if too smoothy is too thick for blender.
